New Announcements for 2003-4!!!

I have just returned from the new Hobby Visions Trade Show in Las Vegas. I thought I would bring you some highlights of the items announced and displayed at this show. Before I get into that, here are a couple of disclaimers. I have not put any release dates down, as they are usually far from right, even in those few cases where they are given. This is only a list of highlights, as I see it. Your interests may differ. Now, on to the fun part!

This was the first time this show has been held, so nobody really knew quite what to expect. Over the past few years attendance at the annual Chicago IMHE trade show has been down a bit, so people were looking forward to a new show, a new venue, and new people! Most exhibitors went in pretty upbeat about the show. Some exhibitors went in tentatively, with much smaller display booths than they have in Chicago. Now that it's over, I don't know if there were any more dealers at this show, but at least this show reached a different section of the country. We'll see what the future holds for hobby trade shows next year, as Hobby Visions and the IMHE in Chicago are scheduled for the same dates. Hopefully this will be resolved before next year.
