The winner of the People's Choice award this year was Gil Gonsoulin's "Preparing for the Hunt".
It is a 1/35 scale German U-boat diorama that was on display at Miniature World in Missouri for a number of years. The sub is a Type XXIII from Accurate Armor.
It includes many neat sub-stories like this fisherman with the seagulls waiting for his catch.
The sub is being resupplied at dockside.
The sub also seems to be leaking oil, as these crewmen have discovered.
