Flames of War!
Bobe's Hobby House is now carrying Flames of War! This is the 15mm WWII wargame by Battlefront Miniatures out of New Zealand. Come check out the miniatures and rulebooks at the store, and watch theevents pagefor upcoming demos and games!
The September gathering for the local Flames of War group was held September 9th at Bobe's. The armies are growing, and we had more players fielding forces. The 1/72 scale players played another game between British and Italian forces, this time based on an actual historical scenario. The 15mm players played on an expanded play area from last time, with much more varied forces in play. Once again, new players were offered a chance to try the game and learn the rules. The next gathering will be on Saturday, October 14th. The day will start with a seminar from Tom Klingman on basics of making wargame terrain at 10:00AM. The games will begin at 12:00 Noon. Come and bring your armies, and we'll get as many games going as we can!
